Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 20, 2026

I. Introduction

Denali Digital Bilişim Limited Şirketi ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, accessed, processed, stored, and protected when you download, install, access, or use the Morning Clock, Smart Loud Alarm mobile application ("App").

The App is designed to help people who have difficulty waking up by providing customizable alarms and wake-up challenges. Depending on the options selected by the user, an alarm may require the user to:

  • Solve a mathematics problem.
  • Shake the device.
  • Correctly type a displayed text.
  • Complete a selected number of steps.
  • Perform another available wake-up task.

The App also allows users to select supported music or sounds to play when an alarm is triggered.

For the purposes of applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), Denali Digital Bilişim Limited Şirketi acts as the data controller for personal information that we directly collect and control, unless otherwise stated.

By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

II. Information We Process

The information processed by the App depends on the features you use, the permissions you grant, your device settings, and the services integrated into the App.

1. Alarm and App Configuration Information

When you create or customize an alarm, the App may process information such as:

  • Alarm time and date.
  • Alarm name or label.
  • Alarm repetition schedule.
  • Snooze preferences.
  • Alarm volume settings.
  • Selected alarm sound or music.
  • Selected wake-up challenge.
  • Mathematics problem difficulty.
  • Required shake count.
  • Required step count.
  • Text typing challenge settings.
  • Whether an alarm is active or inactive.
  • Other preferences necessary to operate the App.

This information is primarily used to configure and activate the alarms requested by you.

Alarm settings may be stored locally on your device. If the App offers account synchronization or cloud backup in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before such functionality is introduced.

2. Notification and Alarm Information

The App may request permission to send notifications, play sounds, display alerts, or otherwise notify you at the alarm times you select.

The App may process:

  • Scheduled alarm times.
  • Notification identifiers.
  • Notification status.
  • Whether notification permission has been granted.
  • Information required by the operating system to schedule and deliver an alarm.

Depending on your device and operating system, alarms or notifications may be scheduled and delivered through the device's local notification system.

You can manage notification permissions through your device settings. Disabling notifications or alarm permissions may prevent the App from waking you at the selected time.

3. Music and Audio Selection

The App allows you to select supported music, sounds, or audio to be played when an alarm is triggered.

Depending on how this feature is implemented and the option you select, the App may request access to:

  • Your device's media library.
  • Audio files selected through the device's file picker.
  • Music or alarm sounds included within the App.
  • A reference or identifier associated with the selected audio file.

The App accesses only the music or audio information required to provide the alarm sound selected by you.

Selecting an audio file does not mean that we receive unrestricted access to your entire media library. Access is subject to your device settings, operating-system controls, and the permissions you grant.

We do not use selected music or audio files for advertising, profiling, or identifying you.

4. Motion and Shake Information

When you select the "shake to dismiss" challenge, the App may access motion information generated by your device's accelerometer or other motion sensors.

This information may include:

  • Device movement.
  • Acceleration values.
  • Shake events.
  • Number of detected shakes.
  • Whether the required shake target has been completed.

Motion information is used to determine whether you have completed the wake-up challenge.

Unless technically required for troubleshooting, raw motion sensor information is processed temporarily on your device and is not stored by us after completion of the challenge.

The shake feature does not identify your physical identity and is not used to create a behavioral or biometric profile.

You may disable motion-related permissions through your device settings. Doing so may prevent the shake challenge from functioning.

5. Step Count and Fitness Information

When you select the step-count challenge, the App may request permission to access step-count or motion-and-fitness information available through your device or operating system.

Depending on your device, this may include information from:

  • Apple HealthKit.
  • Apple Motion & Fitness services.
  • Android Health Connect.
  • Android activity-recognition services.
  • Other system-provided fitness or motion frameworks.

The App may process:

  • Steps taken during the alarm challenge.
  • Starting step count.
  • Current step count.
  • Target step count.
  • Whether the required target has been completed.
  • Permission status for motion, fitness, or health information.

Step-count information is used only to determine whether you have completed the alarm dismissal challenge.

The App does not use step-count information to diagnose medical conditions, provide medical advice, evaluate your health, determine insurance eligibility, or create an advertising profile.

Where technically possible, step-count information is processed locally on your device and is not transferred to our servers.

We do not sell step-count, fitness, or health-related information.

Access to step-count information requires your permission where required by the operating system. You may revoke this permission at any time through your device settings. Revoking permission may prevent the step-count challenge from functioning.

6. Mathematics Challenge Information

When you use the mathematics challenge, the App may process:

  • The generated mathematics problem.
  • The answer entered by you.
  • Whether the answer is correct.
  • Number of attempts.
  • Selected difficulty level.
  • Completion status.

This information is used only to operate the mathematics challenge and determine whether the alarm can be dismissed.

Mathematics answers are not used to evaluate your intelligence, educational ability, mental health, or other personal characteristics.

7. Text Typing Challenge Information

When you use the text typing challenge, the App may process:

  • The text displayed by the App.
  • The text entered by you.
  • Whether the entered text matches the displayed text.
  • Number of attempts.
  • Completion status.

The text displayed for this challenge is generated or selected by the App. You should not enter passwords, payment information, identification numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal information into the challenge field.

Text entered as part of the challenge is used only to verify completion of the task and is not used for advertising or personal profiling.

8. Technical and Diagnostic Information

When you use the App, we or our technical service providers may automatically process limited technical information required to maintain security, diagnose errors, and improve performance.

This information may include:
